The local charity, Friends of Aston’s Eyot, leases the land from Christ Church College. The charity depends on donations and local volunteers to care for and manage the reserve. Thanks to their hard work, there are many paths you can explore around the Eyot.
It’s a great spot for a walk, a picnic, or wildlife watching. Just remember to enjoy the reserve responsibly. The land is fragile, so stay on the paths and appreciate what you find along the way. Be considerate of nature and others – take your litter home, don’t light fires, and avoid disturbing sensitive habitats.
