Access to Aston’s Eyot is free. But, maintaining it and restoring habitats needs funds, all of which we must raise ourselves. The Friends of Aston’s Eyot is the charity which looks after the eyot. We are a passionate and committed group of local residents.
If you can, please support our work by joining us as a Friend. Your gift is used to fund public liability insurance, tools and kit for volunteers, and hiring outside help such as tree surgeons for work that cannot be done by volunteers.

Membership of the Friends of Aston’s Eyot has a basic subscription rate of £5 a year. Of course, please do consider giving a higher amount if you are able to do so.
Members will get:
- occasional email newsletters
- the annual report
- invitations to events and to opportunities to do practical work on site
You will also have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.

Please also send an email to info@friendsofastonseyot.org to say say you’ve made a payment and with your name. Please note that the Co-operative Bank, like other smaller banks, does not yet participate in the payee name check that the bigger banks use.
